Next Monday, June 9 at 5:15 pm, the Boardroom of the Faculty of Legal Sciences of the URV, will host the presentation of the book “Tools for the regulation of environmental services in Catalonia” written by Joan Pons, member of ‘INSTA. The event will feature the participation of Manel Cunill (agricultural technical engineer, environmentalist and author of the prologue), Dr. Francesc Xavier Farriol (1st Deputy Mayor of Vila-seca City Council) and Dra. Aitana De la Varga (professor of administrative law at the URV and tutor of the book).
The closing ceremony of the 2013/14 academic year of the Master’s in Environmental Law will then take place, with the conference “25 years of scientific assessments on anthropogenic climate change: the role of the IPCC and the contribution of the URV’s C3 in his search ”, which will be carried out by Dra. Manola Brunet Director of the Center for Climate Change at the URV and co-chair of OPACE2 for the analysis and monitoring of the global climate of the Climatology Commission of the World Meteorological Organization.

The publication won the second prize in the II Environmental Sciences Awards awarded annually by the College of Environmentalists of Catalonia.
