Animal protection and welfare have become increasingly important in recent years. Social awareness of animal rights, together with the approval of new regulations, has led to a significant change in the obligations of public administrations, animal protection organizations and citizens. Law 7/2023 on the Protection of Animal Rights and Welfare has consolidated this new legal framework and introduced important innovations in the management of urban fauna, feline colonies and companion or wild animals in captivity.

In this context, INSTA is organizing a new online training course aimed at providing a practical and updated view of current regulations, as well as the tools available to guarantee legal, ethical and responsible management of animals. This initiative is part of our line of work of legal and technical advice on urban wildlife, feline colonies and animal welfare.

The main objective of the training is to provide information on the regulatory framework applicable to urban fauna, feline colonies and companion or wild animals in captivity within the municipal area.
