With the land stewardship manual, “Caring for nature together. Handbook on land stewardship as a tool to promote social participation with the natural environment in Europe ”, instruments and tools are offered to put into practice in the territory, with a focus at European level. The Handbook shows the great potential of Land Stewardship as a tool for nature and biodiversity conservation in Europe.
The handbook includes tips and tricks on how to create and improve land stewardship practices and initiatives, taking into account the different perspectives of the actors involved, landowners, public and private organizations for the general public and citizens. It also describes how coordinated land stewardship initiatives contribute to the implementation of European policies, such as Natura 2000 and the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).
